My love for food has grown over the years--ranging from eating healthy fast food (yeah right) to whipping up some nice gourmet dishes in the kitchen. My all time favorite is Soul food and Mexican dishes. On this journey, you will find my Fiance' and I dining out a lot; visiting some of our favorite specialty food stores, then finally spending time in our kitchen. I consider myself a connosieur when it comes to good eating. I like exotic, eccentric and eclectic dishes (Triple E). I'm not afraid to try the unknown and I love to put my own twist on some of America's favorite dishes. I see food as a form of art. Food is something that appeals to the senses. I see something that is vibrant, relishing, full of life and delectable. At the same time--it has sweet, savory, rich, bold, piquant flavors, while offering very redolent and aromatic scents to say the least. The thing that distinguishes us from others is the mere fact that they're still talking about asparagus and steamed green beans and I've moved onto fiddlehead.
